01 /Competitions

Put a championship on your walls.

One day, your routes, a live board over the crowd and a podium ceremony at the end. Klettra runs the whole production: qualification, judged finals, tickets, raffles and every screen in the room.

02 /The room

Every screen in the room is live.

Projector, TV or stream, every board is a live web page. The qualification board ranks the field with per-route stats while climbers are still on the wall. The finals view narrates the round: who is up, who is on deck, what a top would change. A rotation timer hangs over the climbing area, IFSC boards read tops and zones the way comps are read, and chromeless overlays drop straight into a stream. Elsewhere this is the expensive add-on tier. Here it comes with every comp, at every size.

03 /The climbers

From the desk to the wall in seconds.

Every ticket is a QR and a six-character code. A climber scans it and their scorecard opens on the spot: one tap to log an attempt, a zone or a send, a five-second undo and a live rank rail. It opens inside the Klettra app for members, or in any web browser for everyone else, with no account and nothing to download.

A live competition scorecard opened from a scanned ticket

The scorecard a climber sees the moment they scan. The same one, in the app or the browser.

Phone dies mid-comp? Scan the same ticket on the next phone and the scorecard is right back, exactly where it left off.

04 /Your staff

The day runs itself.

A guided checklist takes the comp from draft to published, and from there nobody pushes a start button: the comp goes live the moment its first round opens. Judge stations follow the finals rotation, one tap per result, every entry journaled with undo. Spot a scoring mistake at two in the afternoon? Fix the config and every card corrects itself. Nothing your staff do during a comp is irreversible.

05 /The rulebook

Scored by the book.

Every scoring format used in real comps is built in, and the IFSC ones follow the rules to the letter, countback included. Finals seed themselves from qualification standings, per category, and the rotation timetable is generated for you, with a shift tool for the day that runs ten minutes late. A casual Friday jam and a championship final run on the same system.

06 /Tickets

Sell them yourself, or through Klettra.

Two ways to run it. Sell the tickets yourself: print a sheet of QR codes, cut them, and hand them out at the desk however you already take payment. Or let Klettra handle the sale end to end: set a price and the number of spots per category, share your ticket page, and buyers check out online. The money lands straight in your own Stripe account, each category shows live spots left, and the ticket arrives on the buyer's phone ready to scan. Selling at the desk has no fee; selling through Klettra carries a small per-ticket fee.

07 /Raffles

Prize raffles, drawn on the projector.

Set a prize, a winner count and plain-language eligibility: climbed at least once, a minimum number of tops, exclude the podium. Draw when the room is watching and the winners pop onto the projector. Every draw stores its seed and history, so you can always show who won and when.

09 /The deal

The whole comp platform is included.

Comp platforms usually price by the event, sell the rotation timer and the broadcast graphics as paid tiers, or quote by sales call with event-day support billed by the hour. Klettra does not. The full competition system comes with your Klettra business account: unlimited comps, unlimited participants, every feature. Tickets sold at your desk have no fee. Tickets sold through Klettra's online checkout carry a small per-ticket fee, and that is the whole price list.

10 /After the comp

The comp never ends.

On other platforms the event finishes and the data leaves with it. On Klettra the comp routes keep their comp badge in your catalog, results live on your members' profiles, and a paper-ticket climber who joins your gym later keeps their comp history from day one. The landing page you shared becomes the permanent results link, paper scorecards type straight into the results grid, CSV export included, and account-less names anonymize automatically after your retention period. Season series standings across comps, and judge-scored lead rounds, are supported too.

Common questions

Asked before every comp.

Do climbers need the app or an account?
No. A printed ticket is the whole entry: scan it and the scorecard runs in the browser. Kids can compete from a parent’s phone the same way. Members get the nicer in-app experience, but nothing requires it.
Can we run judged finals under IFSC rules?
Yes. Scheduled rounds are judge-logged and ranked by IFSC tops, zones and attempts with countback, boards read 3T 4Z, and finals seed automatically from qualification standings per category.
Does it handle a whole season, not just one comp?
Yes. Season series combine any number of comps into one standings table with a points ladder, and the standings page is public, so a winter league runs as easily as a single event.
Can we run lead comps too?
Yes. Boulder and lead are both supported: lead rounds are judge-scored by height with plus modifiers and ranked the IFSC way across multiple routes.
What does it cost?
The full competition system comes with your Klettra business account: every feature, unlimited competitions, unlimited participants. Tickets you sell at the desk have no fee; tickets sold through Klettra’s online checkout carry a small per-ticket fee.
